Minecraft Realms is a multiplayer service that allows you to play Minecraft online with two or up to ten of your friends. For more information, check out the Minecraft Realms FAQ.
The first 30 days are free if you choose the ten player tier. After the initial free 30 days, you will automatically be charged and continue to be every 30 days, until you cancel the subscription.

Log in through Xbox Live to join or create a realm in Minecraft. Use your existing account or create a new account through the game. Note that signing in may take up to 30 seconds, so be please be patient. Your Xbox gamertag will be displayed as your in game name. Head over to Xbox support to learn more about how to change your Xbox gamertag.
- Press the Sign In button on the start menu
- Enter your Xbox Live account credentials or create a new account
- Once logged in, create or join a realm
To log out of your Xbox Live account, go to Options from the start menu and scroll down until you see the Sign Out button as shown in the image below.
There are two subscriptions to choose between, divided into tiers; 2 and 10 users + the Realm owner. The cost varies depending on the size of the tier. The price available to you is shown in the game. If you want to change the size (go from 2 users to 10, or from 10 to 2), you will have to cancel the subscription to the Realm, wait until the remaining days expire, and then renew the Realm in the desired size.
You can cancel your subscription from your app store's subscription settings. View your subscription from the settings menu in-game to find out which app store processed your purchase from there you can also manage your subscription. If that does not work, you can access your settings in the app store where you made the purchase, and cancel the recurring payment.

If you are unable to log in, first check the Xbox Live service status. If there are no issues shown, please search for your error message or code, from there you can also get in touch with Xbox support for help logging in.
