Forgot password and don’t have access to the original account email?

The Minecraft Team can help! We will need an alternate form of verification to ensure that you are the owner of the account. The most helpful is your transaction ID that you received when purchasing the game. Due to account security reasons we can only assist you in manually resetting your password two times.  On the third time you will have to rely on resetting your password using your email.

Please keep in mind that this is specifically for Mojang and Minecraft accounts. If you are having trouble with a Sony account, Microsoft account, Nintendo account or other various accounts you will need to contact their respective support channel.
