Account refunded or revoked

Mojang has always worked with our payment partners to counteract purchases that are reported as fraudulent. This happens soon after a suspicious purchase: we comply with the request to refund the charges, then the game profile is flagged as deleted.

How do I check on my account?
If you think that you've have lost access to your game, you can check by visiting account.mojang.com to see if your game is listed in your Mojang account.

Who do I contact about this?
If your game has been refunded, and you bought it through Mojang, we suggest contacting your bank/credit card company, or Paypal/Skrill (depending on your method of payment), to see what may have caused the refund. To contact Paypal, visit Paypal.com and click "Contact". To contact Skrill, email help@skrill.com with your email from your purchase, including the keyword Minecraft in your subject line.

Codes purchased through a code re-seller site
If you bought a code online through a re-seller website, we unfortunately can't help, since that person or company is considered the original buyer. If your purchase was through someone else, we wouldn't have a record of it. Re-selling a code violates our terms of service, but we don't refund codes based on who you bought from; we only make a refund when we are required to do so, or at the request of the original buyer per our refunds policy.

Can I restore my account?
Yes! If you buy the game again, and select the same username, it will un-flag that username for deletion and restore your access to it. If you have trouble with this process, contact Mojang customer service, and we'll manually restore your account.

I still have questions about my Mojang account
Sure, we'd love to help you. Please find your transaction ID, then contact customer support.
