The Jurassic World pack is releasing on the Minecraft Marketplace on Tuesday August
18th at 10am.
It's the biggest Marketplace pack ever made in house at Minecraft, consequently it's so
jam packed with complex mob behaviors, animations, audio, blocks, that the game may
crash on certain iOS devices when the device runs out of memory.
While we want to reduce the amount of crashes for everyone, some iOS devices may
need adjustments to run more smoothly. The best way to stop/reduce the crashes on
iOS devices is to do one of the following:
- Upgrade to the most recent iOS version (currently 13.2.3) if your device is supported.
- Reduce the "Render Distance" in the "Video" section in the settings menu from the default of 20 to 16.
- While iPhone 6’s can run the pack, they may experience higher rates of crashes. You may want to decrease your “Render Distance” further to improve stability. Be aware if you intend to play the pack primarily using an iPhone 6, as your game play experience may be impacted by performance issues.
With these adjustments, the crash rate should be significantly reduced.
