- You will then be asked to verify the email you used when purchasing the game. If you need help finding the correct email, look through all your email inboxes for your receipt from when you purchased the game originally. Once you enter this email, click GET CODE.
- A code will be sent to the email you used to purchase the game. Enter the code into the box and click SUBMIT AND START MIGRATION.
- You will then be met with a Microsoft log in screen. Once you have entered the correct email address you will be prompted to complete the log in with your Microsoft account password. MAKE SURE TO SELECT OR SIGN IN TO THE RIGHT MICROSOFT ACCOUNT, AS LINKING TO THE WRONG ACCOUNT IS PERMANENT.
- If you do not already have a Gamertag set up, you will be prompted to create one. Note: This will not replace your Minecraft Username. Gamertags will not display in-game but will display on your Microsoft account information.
- Once you have linked a Microsoft account and set up your Gamertag, you are almost done with the migration process. Click COMPLETE MOVE to finalize your migration.
- You will be brought back to your minecraft.net profile page and will see confirmation of your migration.
- You can now login to the launcher again using your Microsoft account.

- Please use the 'Go Back' button OR the 'X' (depending on which of the below screens you see) to get back to the login selection screen. You will then select 'Microsoft Login' to enter your new credentials.
